RULES AND REGULATIONS
FOR YOUTH

All Youth must be under the guidance of a counselor.

ALL YOUTH (MALE AND FEMALE) ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE MUST HAVE A COUNSELOR. OTHERWISE, THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. MALES MUST HAVE A MALE COUNSELOR, AND FEMALES MUST HAVE A FEMALE COUNSELOR.

No Youth will be allowed to leave the premises without the consent of his/her counselor.

No Youth will be allowed to leave the premises alone. With permission from their counselor, they may go in groups of four's.

Before permission is granted to leave the premises to visit a relative or friend, the counselor must have the following information: Name, address, and telephone number of the person being visited.

All youth should carry the name of his or her counselor with them at all times.

Disorderly conduct, such as pillow fighting, profane language, running up and down the stairs and halls, or talking/throwing out of windows will not be tolerated.

The use of alcoholic beverages, drugs, smoking or vulgarity will not be permitted. Violators will be sent home.

If the Youth has to take medication prescribed by a physician or over the counter medicine for any noted medical condition, the medication should be given to his/her Counselor for keeping until it is needed.

All Youth are to be in their dorm room by 12:00 midnight.

All Youth are expected to attend all sessions. BADGES SHOULD BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

If a Youth is ill and unable to attend a session, he/she should report to his/her counselor. The counselor will then take the necessary steps for his/her care and is advised to remain with the sick youth.

GIRLS, NO SHORTS OR LEGGINGS (PANTS ARE ALLOWED, BUT NO LARGE HOLES) ARE TO BE WORN TO ANY OF THE CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES. SHORTS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE DORM ONLY (HOWEVER, APPROPRIATE CLOTHING MAY BE WORN FOR THE BASKETBALL GAMES IF YOU ARE A PARTICIPANT ON THE TEAM).
BOYS: NO SHORTS ARE TO BE WORN TO ANY OF THE CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES (APPROPRIATE CLOTHING MAY BE WORN FOR THE BASKETBALL AND VOLLEYBALL GAME). APPROPRIATE ATTIRE SHOULD CONSIST OF CASUAL SHIRTS/T-SHIRTS (NO MUSCLE SHIRTS OR SHIRTS WITH OFFENSIVE STATEMENTS OR SYMBOLS.) NO EARRINGS ARE ALLOWED PERIOD.
ON SUNDAY, BOTH MALES AND FEMALES ARE EXPECTED TO WEAR APPROPRIATE ATTIRE FOR WORSHIP. MALES: SHIRT AND TIE, FEMALES: DRESSES OR BLOUSE/SKIRT.
14. All participants are expected to respect authority.
15. Destruction of property is prohibited.
16. Report all lost articles to the LOST and FOUND Department. (LOCATED IN THE MEDICAL AREA.)
17. No jam boxes, external speakers, headphones, earbuds, musical equipment, or electronic equipment will be allowed at the conference.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
FOR COUNSELORS

Counselors should be over the age of 21.

Counselors should thoroughly brief their young people on all of the rules and regulations BEFORE GOING TO THE CONFERENCE.

All Counselors must attend the Scheduled Orientation Session with their youth at the Conference so they will be 100% together on all Conference Rules and Regulations.

Counselors should know, agree with, and follow all rules and regulations of the conference.

Counselors should assume responsibility for youth during the entire conference, attend all sessions, and see to it that their youth do the same. Counselors must be willing to participate in all activities from the time of arrival to the time of departure.

Counselors will be asked to leave if they are not cooperative.

The Counselors should set an example for the youth in faithfulness and all other Christian graces in their local congregation and at the conference.

Under no circumstances should one Counselor confront another Counselor in the presence of any Youth for speaking to his/her Youth about their conduct.

All Counselors should be under the leadership of their local congregation and the leadership will be notified in cases of misconduct on the part of a Counselor.

No smoking, drinking, drugs or vulgarity will be engaged by either Counselor or Youth.

Counselors should inform their Youth that unless they are well disciplined and commit themselves to become members of the group, they would not be allowed to attend the State Youth Conference.

Counselors should work directly with the Youth in their local congregation in order to be allowed to counsel them at the conference.

Counselors should be housed in the dorms with their Youth.

COUNSELORS, BEFORE RETIRING AT NIGHT, SHOULD SEE THAT ALL YOUTH FOR WHOM THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE, ARE IN THEIR ASSIGNED ROOMS.

Counselors will be absolutely responsible for the conduct of the Youth in their charge.

Counselors should be informed of any physical problems a Youth has.

Counselors should see that each Youth brings a BIBLE with him or her to the conference.

Counselors should bring with them the health insurance card (or copy) of the youth and make sure each youth has a Health Record (should have been sent with registration) for the Medical Personnel at the conference.
